So this is what I started with.

My goal for this week was the lower bird or the lips.

Can you see the lips and the bird?

Project 94 Kyle's Quilt

This is a big finish for me.  Years ago I made a tee shirt quilt for my son.  I gave him the quilt top for Christmas.  I usually give someone something that is not finished.

Since that day Kyle has passed away.  I sandwiched and pinned the quilt.  I just put simple lines down the quilt.  You know it probably took about 4 hours to finish.  It is priceless to me.  I remember every shirt.  I am just full of memories and tears.  This quilt is priceless.

Also finished the caulking along the sliding glass door.

Good day!

Project 84 Jewelry Box

Got a little better taking the before picture.  I decided I would paint this treasure Purple.
The necklace area, which I have a problem with, has a drawer that I built.

I love this.  It makes the whole thing more usable.  I also took the ring holders out.  So you have 4 drawers that can be used for anything.

And this is the finished project.

Project 73 Mill Hill Snow Castle

This was not the Mill Hill I was planning on stitching.  As I was trying to select a kit I found this on over half way completed.  I found the beads, instructions and off I went.

Three days later - it's done.

Project 91 Fix Frames

I thought I had the sideways pictures figured out but here we go again.
I have had these 2 cuties in a box to work on.  Their glass broke and I didn't want to deal with it at the time.  Glass removed.

Project 87 Foot Stool

Yesterday I did this little foot stool.  I want to put it on the front porch holding the floral birdcage.

I painted the vinyl with acrylic paint.  It will get water on it so I liked the vinyl idea.  The body was painted with dark brown.

Looking good.

Project 85 Dandelions in Front Yard

Well we don't get a picture with this one but after 9 days, I'm done.  I will still be watching carefully but I find I can declare this one - done!  Putting down grass seed (bought local) now.

Project 81 Pumpkin Carving

This is my book pumpkin.  I wish I had taken a progress picture but this is what we have.

I saw this on Pinertest and of course had to try it.  I started this over a year ago and picked up the started book to finish.  The carving sucked.  My finger was bruised from cutting.  After cutting I sponge painted the edges of the pages.  Found a stick in the yard and glued the book around it.

I don't think I will do this again.

Project 70 Random Thoughts Cross Stitch

We started with this.

And ended with this.  Happy about the progress.  And I finish the nasty over one part.

Project 78 Teal Chair

I bought this chair about 2 years ago.  It was floral with a hunter green background.
I bought it to recover or paint.  I decided paint.  The first picture shows what I painted about a year ago.  It was a much lighter teal and didn't cover well.

The paint mixture I used was 2 parts paint to one part gylcerin mixture. I have lots of paint from the china hutch book case so I used that paint this time.  I mixed 2/3 cups of paint and 1/3 gylcerin.  Although I found several recipes on the internet I found you have to do what is best with the paint you are using.

I like the way it turned out.  I like that you can still see the floral print.  The hardest part was cleaning the arms and legs.  I wish I had thought more about that when I started.

Project 80 Ebay April 2020

I have ended all auctions and items listed for sale.  During the coronavirus I would not want to buy or sell anything.

Project 82 Trim Rosebushes

This was a quick project but I walked away bleeding.  Trim these Monsters.  Done.
